17:25. “ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನೆಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

17:25. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಟ್ಟಿರಲಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಓ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಿ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಎಡೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.
